The Grand Prix Regio Insubrica is a race in the male line of road cycling, which takes place every year on February in the territory of Insubria, between Italy and Switzerland. It is part of the UCI Europe Tour calendar, in category 1.1.
The event is organized by the Cycling Company Alfredo Binda, in collaboration with the Velo Club Lugano and thanks to the support of the Province of Varese and Regio Insubrica. Continue reading
The schedule of competitions that will be raced in Varese in 2013, presented at the Auditorium of Gavirate on January 2013, provides a total of 110 appointments that cover all the categories.
Numerous events in multiple trials: in addition to the ones established of the Province of Varese Cadets Tour, Challenge Alfredo Binda Juniors and Challenge Renato Martignoni Beginners there will be the Ciclovarese Challenge Students, the Ciclovarese Challenge Beginners and the Circuit Varese Valleys and mountain bike.
In late May, will take place the classic festival of the Madonna del Brinzio, while on the 23rd of June will be the turn of a single trial of the Italian Championship on the road to the Elite and Juniors Women categories by the Cycling Sport Promotion.
Inevitable international events like the Grand Prix Arno Juniors (on the 2nd of June 2013), the Three Varesine Valleys curated by SC Alfredo Binda and testing commissioned by the Women’s World Cup and wanted by the Cycling Sport Promotion (on the 24th of March 2013). Continue reading
The Binda Trophy is a road bike race reserved for women, and takes place every year during March and April in Valcuvia, near Cittiglio, a small town in the Province of Varese well known for being the birthplace of a big champion of the history of cycling: Alfredo Binda.
The women’s race, which started in 1974 with the modest rank of regional test, arrived in 2012 at the 37th edition and is now considered a unique event in the Italian and international scene. Continue reading

The Three Varesine Valleys is a historical race that takes place since 1919, every year in August, in the province of Varese. Among the various editions, took turns on the podium international and renowned cyclists as Bartali, Coppi, Magni, Motta, Moser, Saronni and Bugno.
The Three Varesine Valleys, organized by the Cycling Club Alfredo Binda, is the more beloved race by Varese’s sportsmen and over the years has touched with its route, all the province of Varese, from Angera to Besozzo, from Varese to Casale Litta, from Gallarate to Cuvio and from Malnate to Sesto Calende.
